Yanukovych's state treason: court to question ex-prime minister on March 27-29

The Russian state bodies will not be attracted in the questioning

Judges panel of Obolon District Court of Kyiv made a decision to question Mykola Azarov, the former prime minister of Ukraine and other officials of time of Viktor Yanukovych's presidency within the case of the state treason on March 27-29. Vladyslav Deviatko, the presiding judge claimed this as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.

Also, Pavlo Lebedev, the former defense minister, Stanyslav Shuliak, the former commander of internal forces of Interior Ministry and former Yanukovych's securities Kostyantyn Kobzar and Serhy Bernatsky. The questioning will be held without the involvement of the Russian state bodies and in on-line regime.

'The court guided by article 114 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine established March 27, 28, 29, 2018 for the questioning of the witnesses', the judge said.

Later the court made a decision to question a number of the witnesses proposed by the defense.

Today the court questioned Oksana Mediyeva, the resident of Crimea and the participant of Anti-Maidan movement (the pro-Russian movement, which emerged and faded during the revolutionary events of Euromaidan, - 112 International). Mediyeva appeared before the court in the video conference mode from Simferopol, in the annexed Crimea.
