Viktor Yanukovych, a former president of Ukraine agreed to the cancelation of the planned storming of the Mezhyhirya Residence with Dmytro Yarosh, then Head of Right Sector. MP Mykhailo Dobkin claimed this during the questioning at Obolon Court on state treason case of Yanukovych as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.
'Yanukovych ordered Yakymenko (the former SBU Head, - 112 international) to connect him with Yarosh. Then he was passed the phone and he talked, as I understood with Dmytro Yarosh, he talked about some agreements that Mezhyhirya Residence would not be atacked. A half an hour passed and information about the attempt of the storming or seizure of Mezhyhirya was removed as people did not make it there', Dobkin said.
According to MP, the second talk of Yanukovych with Yarosh 'did not succeed' and the strangers entered the territory of the residence.
He also said that on February 22, Yanukovych negotiated with Arseny Yatsenyuk, the former Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that Yanukovych arrived in Kharkiv Regional State Administration on the night of February 21 to 22, 2014 where Dobkin, then Head of Kharkiv Regional Administration (now he is the MP from Opposition Bloc) met him and provided the transport for the further escape.
