Kyivtransgaz has started works on restoration of gas supply at the power and heating plant #6 in the capital. This was reported by the adviser to the Minister of Energy and Coal Mining of Ukraine, according to Ukrinform.

"Works on restoration of gas supply at thermal power station #6 have been started, gas transportation system is fully prepared. Blue fuel will be given on Monday, when PJSC Kyivgaz will be ready to ensure supply," adviser said.

It is noted that power station #5 continues gas consumption in limited mode.

As it was reported earlier, on May 30 Kyivtransgaz fully stopped gas supply to  the thermal power station #6 in the capital, which provides several neighborhoods with hot water and heating in Kyiv. The reason for disconnection were debts of state and consumers. Heat debt amounted to almost $188 million as of May 1.
