The work of thermal power station in Trypillia was suspended in order to save the anthracite coal. This was announced by the director press service of the company Oksana Yehorova, reports Ukrainian News agency.

“Trypillia thermal power station does not work in order to save the fuel. The supervisor of the National energy company “Ukrenergo” ordered to stop the work,” Yehorova said.

At the moment, 36,8 thousand tons of the anthracite coal is stored in the warehouses of the station, according to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining of Ukraine.

During this week before the suspension, Trypillia thermal power station worked as one increment of energy. On Wednesday, the increments of energy were to be used, but the system operator decided not to use them to cover the network load.
