Wizz Air airlines announced the reduction of flights from Kyiv in 17 directions due to delayed delivery of the planes, as the press office of the company reported.
Therefore, from August 3 till August 20 the frequency of flights to Warsaw, Budapest, Memmingen, Cologne, Riga, Billund, Berlin, Bremen, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Dortmund, Hanover, Larnaca, Krakow, Vienna, Bratislava, and Copenhagen will be reduced. The total amount of reduced flights in these directions will make 24 per week.
Here is the list of the directions from Kyiv on which a part of flights will be canceled: Warsaw, Budapest, Memmingen, Cologne, Billund, Berlin, Bremen, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Dortmund, Riga, Hangover, Larnaca, Krakow, Vienna, Bratislava, Copenhagen.
Wizz Air’s routing net from Kyiv has 30 directions to European countries.
In total, Wizz Air performs flights in over 650 directions from 24 bases, in 146 directions in 44 countries.
Within the first months, Wizz Air transported around 450,000 passengers from and in Ukraine. In total, the ridership of the airlines made 34 million passengers in 2018.
