Who wins local elections in Kyiv region?

Petro Poroshenko's Bloc "Solidarity" reported that they would head all four united territorial communities, where the elections took place, in Baryshivsky, Borodyansky, Kobalevsky (Vasylkivsky district) and Myronivsky districts

On Sunday, December 23, the residents of the united territorial communities in Kyiv region - Baryshivsky, Borodyansky, Kobalevsky (Vasylkivsky district) and Myronivsky districts - had an opportunity to vote for the local MPs and heads of the settlements.

240 law enforcers, including 130 police officers and national guards maintained order during the elections in the capital region. No violations of the public order were reported.

“During the day, the police received four reports on the violation of the electoral legislation. An operative investigation unit arrived at each scene and conducted inspection there. No criminal proceeding was opened,” the police reports.

Most of the violations were recorded in Baryshivka.

“Media representative noticed the falsification. The journalist wrote a relevant statement to the police. Inspection on this case is underway,” the police reports.

MP from “Fatherland” party Oleksandra Kuzhel posted her own version of events.

“The members of the local electoral commission No.320004 from “Petro Poroshenko Bloc”… within the single-mandate constituency No.8 issued ballots of the constituency No.9, which made it impossible for the voters to use the electoral right provided by the Constitution,” the politician wrote.

The turnout in Kyiv region was quite high, over 46 of voters on average, and in Kovalevsky united territorial community the turnout was record-breaking – 81%, as “Petro Poroshenko's Bloc” informed. The turnout in Kyiv region was also record-breaking, it made 82%. The “Radical Party” has some other figures – 45.57%.

According to Petro Poroshenko's Bloc “Solidarity”, the candidate for head of the community from this party Vitaly Savenko is winning. 66% of voters supported him, and his opponent from “Fatherland” got 23% of votes.

According to the preliminary estimates Petro Poroshenko's Bloc “Solidarity” gets at least nine deputy mandates out of 30 in Myronivska united territorial community, which is 30,42%. Deputies’ elections in cit united territorial communities are being held on a proportional basis – on party lists. “Fatherland” is on the second place, it got seven mandates, which is 23,8%. Agrarian Party of Ukraine and “Opposition Bloc” received four mandates each, Oleg Lyashko’s “Radical Party” got two mandates.

Oleksandr Varenychenko, the representative of Petro Poroshenko's Bloc “Solidarity”, the candidate for the chairman of Baryshivsky united territorial community, wins, getting almost 40% of votes.

His party fellow Oleksandr Sakharuk wins in the elections of the head of Borodyansky united territorial community.

The candidate for the chairman of Kovalevsky united territorial community, Raisa Klyukovska from Petro Poroshenko's Bloc“Solidarity” also wins.

All the 26 candidates for deputies nominated from Petro Poroshenko's Bloc “Solidarity” get seats in Kovalevsky united territorial community.
