The World Health Organization predicts that the growth of the number of people infected with coronavirus in Ukraine as WHO Representative Jarno Habicht stated.
According to Habicht, as for today, there is a high possibility that the number of infected with Covid-19 will increase in Ukraine.
“As we most probably will see more cases in Ukraine, the healthcare sector will constantly will get prepared. And another important message is that as the health reform continue, as we getting the hospitals better and modern and emergency care better, then it is easier to respond to the outbreaks as we have with Covid-19. While we are responding to the outbreak, we also continue to strengthen the health system in Ukraine,” he stated.
As of Wednesday, March 4, one case of Covid-19 coronavirus was recorded in Ukraine, six more people are suspected and now they are waiting for the results of the tests.
As we reported earlier, yesterday, on March 3, Ukraine confirmed the case of COVID-19 or coronavirus. The case was spotted in the Chernivtsi region. A man returned to Ukraine from Italy and entered Ukraine through the border with Romania.
