The first round of presidential elections took place in Ukraine on March 31. The polling stations were open from 08:00 a.am. to 20:00 p.m.
The Central Election Commission (CEC) must establish the election results by April 10. Then, the commission has to publish the results of the first round in the newspapers Holos Ukrayiny and Uryadovy Kuryer not later than April 13. And it is to announce holding the second round in case no candidate received over 50% of votes.
The date of the second round of elections is supposedly April 21, 2019.
The CEC establishes and announces the results of the second round before May 1. The official announcement of the second round results is to be published in the Holos Ukrayiny and Uryadovy Kuryer before May 4.
By June 3, the inauguration of the newly elected President of Ukraine is to be held at the solemn session of the Verkhovna Rada.
