President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky set a task to resolve the issue of the return home of Ukrainians from Nepal, which closed the airspace due to quarantine. He stated this during a conference call, the press service of the President's Office reports.
"We must find an opportunity to promptly return our citizens home," Volodymyr Zelensky stressed.
Earlier, Nepal received a second batch of oxygen cylinders from China amid an acute shortage of medical oxygen due to the growing number of patients with Covid-19 in the country.
Also, due to a sharp increase in Covid-19 incidence, Nepal hospitals have run out of free beds.
Meanwhile, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will hold a press conference on May 20, marking the second anniversary of his election. This was announced by the Director General of the Directorate for Information Policy of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iriya Pobedonostseva and the press secretary of the President Yulia Mendel.
"Zelensky will hold a press conference on May 20," the statement said.
However, it is not yet known where the press conference will take place and how many journalists will be admitted to it. Pobedonostseva and Mendel said they would provide details a little later.
