Ukraine intends to build high-speed electric charging stations and points on the most popular routes: Kyiv - Lviv, Kyiv - Odesa, and Kyiv - Dnipro. This was stated by the Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy during Ukraine 30 forum.
"We must be prepared when Elon Musk decides to visit Zhytomyr and check if there is a charging station. Therefore, we are making a special program of state support that will allow building high-speed charging stations and points on the most popular routes," Krykliy said.
In particular, electric charging stations are due to be built on the routes Kyiv - Lviv, Kyiv - Odesa, and Kyiv - Dnipro.
In September last year, the Verkhovna Rada supported bills #3476 and #3477, which provide for the creation of conditions in Ukraine for the production of domestic cars, buses, trucks, and special equipment with electric motors.
It should be noted that, as of the first half of 2020, more than 20 thousand electric cars were registered in Ukraine.
