One of the biggest chains in the world Walmart stopped selling clothes with USSR symbols at the request of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, as Vakarų Ekspresas reports.

“Rolandas Kriščiūnas, Lithuanian Ambassador to the U.S., received a written answer of Walmart administration with a promise to stop selling goods with Soviet symbols soon,” the message says.

The statement of the Lithuanian Ambassador to the Head of the chain says that Walmart leadership did not want to offend the Baltic States. Yet, Kriščiūnas noted that “the clothes with the symbols of mass murders” has to be immediately removed from the market.

The politicians and diplomats of three Baltic states have appealed with a similar request to Walmart already.
