Volodymyr Ariev becomes Vice President of PACE from Ukraine

Volodymyr Ariev, the MP and Chairman of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE became new Vice President of the Assembly as press service of PACE reported.

It is noted that the deputies of the PACE Chairmen are elected due to the quotas of the national delegations (the co-chairman of the country are changed under shake-up). Ukraine sent Ariev for this position in 2018.

Georgy Logvinsky was the Vice President of PACE from Ukraine in 2017.

As we reported Michele Nicoletti from Italy was elected as the president of the PACE. His appointment to this position took place on January 22 during the opening of the January PACE session in Strasbourg.
