Visegrad Group called on the EU to help Ukraine in the settlement of the IDPs

Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Bohuslav Sobotka announced this after the summit of the four countries in Prague. They wrote that the number of internally displaced persons in Ukraine in connection with the conflict in Donbas exceeds 1.7 million people. "There is no indication that the conflict will end soon, and this number has already got to the highest possible point", reads the document. The Visegrad countries urge EU to allocate funds to Kyiv in order solve this problem and are willing to help managing the correspondent support program.
