Visa-free regime between Ukraine and Uruguay comes into force on February 15, as the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.

“To Uruguay without visa! Since today Ukrainians have a right to spend up to 90 days in Uruguay! Wish you interesting and safe trips, and also pleasant impressions,” the message says.

As it was reported, the agreement on visa free regime with Uruguay was signed on September 26, 2018 in New York. On December 27, the Cabinet of Ministers approved it.

As we reported, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine holds the negotiations on the visa-free regime or mitigation of the visa regime with more than two dozen countries.

Besides, Ukraine improved its position in the passport rating for three points in 2018, and took the 41st place in the Henley & Partners Company list. Currently, the Ukrainian passport allows to travel to 128 countries without a visa, which is 14 states more than it was in 2017.
