During the local elections in Ukraine, in some of the polling stations, the ballots were handed out without the IDs, while in one polling station the ballots were empty. In Kherson region, some activity indicates the interference of officials into the voting, according to Chairperson of the Board of public organization Opora Olha Aivazivska.
According to Aivazovska, the turnout is 21.4%, with a 2.3% error. In 7.4% of the polling stations, the instances of ballots being handed out without the IDs were reported, while in 12.4% of polls minor violations occurred.
As it was reported earlier, local elections are held in 201 districts of Ukraine. They include 933 local councils (25 city councils, 67 town councils, and 841 village councils). Over 1.3 million of people can cast votes today at 1.947 polling stations.
