Auditors inspected the Kyiv region Road Service from March 2018 to March 2019 and revised the financial and economic activity of the Service from March 2015 until February 2018. As a result of the inspections, the auditors found out that the violations led to the losses equaled almost to $19,200.
“In the accounting of the Service the understatement of accounts payable totaling over $1 million is stated; overstatement of the non-current assets (capital investment) for the total amount of almost $51.600; underestimation in the accounting of asset value (unfinished building) worth over $23.400."
The auditors demanded the Road Service remedy all the revealed violations.
Earlier the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman commented on the state of the Ukrainian roads. He noted that he drives on unrepaired roads and gets into a pothole.
