In Ukraine, the situation with the coronavirus is deteriorating in Vinnytsia region - it is already on the verge of entering the "red" zone. This is evidenced by data from the Ministry of Health.

So, according to the Ministry of Health, in the "orange" Vinnytsia region, for three days in a row, the detection rates of new Covid cases and the level of hospitalizations per 100 thousand people have been exceeded. According to the current rules, exceeding two indicators means the transition of the region to the "red" zone.

Currently, Kyiv and 17 regions of Ukraine are already in the "red" zone: Volyn, Zaporizhia, Odesa, Donetsk, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Luhansk, Lviv, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions.

Meanwhile, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 14,490 new cases of Covid-19, including 1,069 children and 135 healthcare workers.

4,881 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 403 patients deceased and 11,146 recovered. 77,713 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Dnipropetrovsk (1,630), Kharkiv (1,050), Zaporizhia (1,029), Odesa (979) and Donetsk (793) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 3,217,639 people have contracted the disease, 2,631,240 have overcome it, 76,705 have succumbed to it
