Tomorrow, the Verkhovna Rada will address the U.S. Congress on an extraordinary session about granting Ukraine the status of a major non-NATO ally. The corresponding order of parliament speaker Dmytro Razumkov was published by MP from European solidarity Oleksiy Honcharenko in Telegram.
The meeting will take place at 14:00.
“On September 8, at 14:00, an extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada will be held, where my draft resolution “On the Appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the United States Congress on granting Ukraine bilateral status as the main ally of the United States outside NATO (MNNA)” will be considered,” Honcharenko writes.
The Verkhovna Rada of IX convocation began the sixth session on September 7, which should end on January 21, 2022.
