Two more draft decrees on the date of inauguration of President-elect Zelensky registered in the Ukrainian Parliament – May 18 and May 28. The respective information can be found on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

MP from Petro Poroshenko Bloc Volodymyr Kurennoy presented the draft decree No. 10270-6. He proposes to hold inauguration on May 17.

A group of MPs led by the representative of “People’s Front” Andriy Teteruk offered to conduct inauguration on May 28, as the draft decree No. 10270-7 reads.

As it was reported, Acting Chairman of the Regulation Committee of the Verkhovna Rada Pavlo Pinzenyk will propose consideration of draft decrees with the dates of the inauguration of President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky on May 15.

As we reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine would appoint the date of the inauguration of President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky.

Current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko does not stand against any of the dates as Artur Herasimov, the Head of Petro Poroshenko Bloc, notes.

According to him, Petro Poroshenko Bloc has not decided yet for what date to vote.

President-Elect Volodymyr Zelensky recorded a message to the parliament, where he called on the MPs to appoint the date of the inauguration on May 19 in order to cease the staff activity of the current President Petro Poroshenko.
