Ukrainian Parliament may vote for the visa regime with Russia next week. This was reported by the sources from Petro Poroshenko Bloc "Solidarity" and People's Front factions to RBC Ukraine

According to the agency, factions are to reconcile votes to understand whether it is possible to vote conclusively for the imposition of visa regime with the Russian Federation. If there are sufficient votes, the issue should be put to the vote in the session hall.

However, the results of vote checking are not available yet.

At the same time, agency’s sources note that the chances of voting next week for the decision remain high.

The draft law on introduction of visas for Russian citizens was registered in parliament in February 2016, however it was not considered.

Oleksandr Turchynov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, repeatedly advocated for the according decision.
