The Verkhovna Rada appointed Oleksandr Kubrakov as Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine. His candidacy was supported by 284 Ukrainian lawmakers.

According to Article 85 and 114 of the Constitution of Ukraine, on the proposition of parliamentary faction of Servant of the People political party which according to Article 83 of the Constitution of Ukraine has the right of coalition of deputy factions in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 9th convocation, I submit a proposal to appoint Kubrakov Oleksandr as a Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine," the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal said.
Kubrakov is a co-founder of the City for People group of companies, as well as a co-founder of Eurocommunservice LLC. He participated in the implementation of a number of projects: "Home Internet" from Kyivstar, transport strategy of Kyiv, etc. He worked as an IT advisor to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. In 2019 he became a candidate for MP from the Servant of the People party. He entered the Verkhovna Rada but did not stay there long. From November 19, 2019, Kubrakov headed the State Agency of Motor Roads (Ukravtodor), where he worked until today.
On May 18, Verkhovna Rada dismissed Vladyslav Krykliy, the Minister of Infrastructure, who resigned of his own free will.
