Verka Serduchka to perform at Eurovision 2019

Verka Serduchka (Andriy Danylko) will perform at Eurovision 2019, which will be held in Israeli Tel Aviv this spring. The artist announced this during the national selection for the competition, according to the Novy Kanal.

"The organizers of Eurovision have already invited us to perform. And ... Yes - we will do it!" Andriy Danylko said.

it is still unknown on what day and with what song Verka Serduchka will perform at the contest.

In 2007 Verka Serduchka represented Ukraine at the Eurovision in Helsinki. The artist took second place with the song ‘Dancing Lasha Tumbai’.

The participant for Eurovision 2019 from Ukraine will be determined on Saturday, February 23.

As you know, the winner of the national selection (vidbir) will represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, which will be held in Israeli capital Tel Aviv. Our contestant will sing in the second half of the first semifinal, scheduled for May 14. The second semifinal will be held on May 16, and we will know the name of the winner on May 18.

The first wave of ticket sales for Eurovision 2019 is expected by the end of February, but the organizers have already unveiled their price - and they are not cheap.
