Vandals make anti-Semitic inscriptions on Holocaust museum in Odesa

In the center of Odesa, vandals made anti-Semitic inscriptions on a number of buildings related to Jewish people, the local newspaper Timer wrote.

The building of the regional archive, which in the past was a synagogue and which is planned to be handed over to the Jewish community “Chabad Shomrei Shabos” was damaged by the hooligans. Also, an insulting inscription appeared at the entrance to the Holocaust museum.

Odesa police have not yet commented on the incident.

As it was reported earlier the World Jewish Congress denounced the newly put up monument to Symon Petrliura in Vinnytsia, which was erected for the anniversary of the Ukrainian War of Independence of 1917-1921.
