Points for vaccination against coronavirus will be opened in Ukrainian churches of four denominations. This was announced by Health Minister Viktor Lyashko during a briefing.

"At the initiative of the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, we are opening new platforms for vaccination in churches," Lyashko said.

In particular, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate and the Seventh-day Adventist Church have agreed to have vaccination points in their churches.

New points are already operating in Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhia, Ternopil, Uzhhorod and Chernivtsi.

During the past 24 hours, 16,308 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine. Also, 838 people died of coronavirus during the past 24 hours.

On November 15, 268,088 people were vaccinated against coronavirus.
