Vaccination in Ukraine: No inoculations given in ten regions on Monday

919 people received the first dose of the vaccine against coronavirus in Ukraine on May 3, as Health Minister Maksym Stepanov reported on Facebook.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 756 022 patients received the first dose. Meanwhile, only nine people finished the immunization (received two doses).

The number of vaccinations in 24 hours in the regions is the next:

Kyiv - 157; Volyn region - 36; Dnipropetrovsk region - 79 ; Donetsk region - 86; Zhytomyr region - 47 ; Zakarpattia region - 38 ; Zaporizhia region - 20; Kyiv region - 64 ; Kirovohrad region - 20; Mykolaiv region - 174; Poltava region - 30; Sumy region - 24; Kharkiv region - 80; Cherkasy region - 42; Chernivtsi region - 22.

In other regions, vaccination was not carried out.

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 2,472 new cases of Covid-19, including 122 children and 22 healthcare workers. 

1,325 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 166 patients deceased, and 7,815 recovered. 17,549 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Donetsk (324), Cherkasy (253), Dnipropetrovsk (220), Kharkiv (191) and Odesa (168) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,088,410 people have contracted the disease, 1,689,630 have overcome it, 44,916 - have succumbed to it.
