On Thursday, February 25, the vaccination from coronavirus has started in Kyiv. Chief Doctor of Oleksandrivsky hospital Oleksiy Kutsenko got the first dose of the Indian CoviShield vaccine as Kyiv TV channel reported.

“We see every day the human tragedies (from Covid-19, - 112.international) that is why there was no choice whether to get vaccinated or not,” Kutsenko said after the vaccination.

As of February 24, 2021, the State Expert Center of the Health Ministry of Ukraine did not register any unfavorable events after the immunization.

Meanwhile, the vaccination from Covid-19 has started in Ukraine on February 24. The first person to receive the vaccine was Yevhen Horenko, a resuscitator at the Cherkasy Regional Hospital. The vaccination has started in three more regions of Ukraine.

Kyiv and other regions should start vaccination from coronavirus today, on February 25.
