Vaccination centers open in another seven Ukrainian cities

The centers of the mass vaccination have opened in another seven cities of Ukraine these weekends as Prime Minister Denys Shmygal reported on Facebook.

“Ukraine increases the tempo of vaccination of the population against Covid-19. On these weekends, the centers of mass vaccination have started their work in 10 cities. Ternopil, Poltava, Kremenchuk, Lubny, Myrhorod, Horishni Plavni, and Rivne have joined Kyiv, Odesa, and Lviv,” PM reported.

According to him, the vaccination of the military, doctors, employees of the social sphere, teachers, and people at the age over 65 will continue on workdays.

Shmygal promised that Ukraine will get the vaccine from the U.S. The U.S. has announced the plan of distribution of 25 million doses among different world countries and Ukraine takes the priority place in this program.

As we reported, Ukrainian citizens inoculated with China-made CoronaVac vaccine will get the international vaccination certificate.

Ukraine procured 1,913,000 doses of this vaccine. Currently, they inoculate people aged above 65+, low-mobile groups of the population, and those taking care of the handicapped people; the others in this particular group are athletes, teachers, and tutors involved in the external independent testing campaign, the military, the police, the workers of critical infrastructure and those willing to get vaccinated via the Diya digital app.
