In particular, the funds received are spent on the development of professional sergeant corps, logistics and medical support systems, as well as on the prospects of the multinational joint coordinating committee on military cooperation and defense reform.
Armed Forces Commander in Chief Viktor Muzhenko noted that consultative help provided by the US advisers essentially reinforces Ukraine’s Army.
As it was reported earlier 28 units of Ukrainian army were trained under NATO standards, according to Ukraine's Defense Ministry. Twenty joint exercises with foreign instructors have taken place at Ukrainian training grounds since early 2017.
