U.S. to increase assistance for Ukraine's cyber security to $10 million

The U.S. will increase the financial assistance for Ukraine’s cyber security, as Wess Mitchell, the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, stated at the briefing, broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.

“We've discussed the issues of cyber security and I can proudly announce that we will double the amount of assistance to strengthen the cyber security from $5 million to $10 million,” Mitchell stated.

Mitchell also said that the U.S. supports Ukraine’s progress, which it demonstrates in the aspirations to NATO and Euro-Atlantic integration.

“I have just returned from the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of NATO member states, which was held before in Brussels. At the meeting Pompeo, recently appointed U.S. Secretary of State, has again stressed the support of the progress that Ukraine demonstrates in its aspirations to NATO and Euro-Atlantic integration,” Mitchell stated.

As it was reported, Wess Mitchell, The Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, arrived in Ukraine today.
