The U.S. authorities ended assistance programs in north-west Syria, as CBS News reports referring to the source.
According to the news agency, the U.S. was allocating resources each year to “stabilize local community” and to “help the independent community and mass media” in the region.
As it was noted, European states were informed on the U.S. decision.
Besides, the experts of the TV channel are concerned that the U.S. will leave the region. According to them, this will make other states to reconsider their presence in Syria.
Earlier, the mass media informed that the U.S. Administration decided to freeze funding the White Helmets non-governmental organization.
