The U.S. intends to ‘revitalize' partnership with Ukraine to support its President Volodymyr Zelensky, as the White House reported.

It is specified that National Security Advisor of the U.S. Jake Sullivan spoke by phone today with Head of Presidential Office Andriy Yermak of Ukraine.

Particularly, the U.S. is going to restore strategic partnerships to support Zelensky’s plan on reforms.

“Sullivan relayed the Biden Administration’s commitment to revitalize our strategic partnership in support of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s plan to tackle corruption and implement a reform agenda,” the message said.

It is noted that Sullivan has also confirmed the unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and Euro-Atlantic aspirations. 

On January 20, 2020, Joe Biden took the office of 46th president of the U.S. During the two months of his presidency, Biden had telephone conversations with many world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Besides, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent explained why there has been no conversation between U.S. leader Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
