The U.S. has finished the drills and preparation of Ukrainian sailors for service on the Island-class boats. Ukrainian Embassy of the USA reported that on its Facebook page.

"Ambassador of Ukraine in the U.S. Valeriy Chalyi together with the other diplomatists of the Embassy participated in the graduation ceremony of Ukrainian sailors who drilled in the USA for service on Sloviansk and Starolilsk boats of Island class," the message reads.

The Embassy emphasized the readiness of the ships along with the trained crew to strengthen the capacity of the Ukrainian Naval Forces.

Apart from Chalyi, Commander of the Ukrainian Naval Forces Ihor Voronchenko also performed on the event.

Ukrainian representatives thanked the leadership of the U.S. Coast Guard and all the participants of the project for preparation and transfer the valuable experience to the servicemen of Ukraine's Naval Forces.

As we reported earlier, Iran could not be an entirely reliable ally in the Caspi Moscow hoped for.
