U.S. imposes sanctions against Ukrainian Dart Airlines

The sanctions were imposed due to the cooperation with an Iranian carrier Caspian Air

The U.S. included Dart Airlines, a Ukrainian company, in the sanction list, as it is reported on the website of The Federal Register.

It was noted that the anti-Iranian sanctions were imposed on the Ukrainian airlines due to the cooperation with an Iranian carrier Caspian Air.

“For providing assistance, funding or providing financial, material, technologic support or financial or any other services to support Iranian Caspian Air,” Office of Foreign Assets Control annotation says.

Earlier, the U.S. extended anti-Iranian sanctions. Six representatives of The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and three – connected with the company’s Corps were included in the sanctions list. Later, Valiolaha Seifa, the Head of Iran’s Central Bank, was included in the list. He is accused of supporting terrorism.

As it was reported, Donald Trump, the U.S. President, has officially declared that the state leaves the Iran Nuclear Deal. The EU informed about the intentions to keep to the Deal, despite the fact that the U.S. refused to participate any further.
