Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives published the full version of the complaint against the pressure of U.S. President Donald Trump on President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during the phone talk in July as the Congress reported.
The complaint was filed by the worker of American intelligence; he noted that he personally did not hear the talk but he is familiarized with the content according to the number of sources.
“I am deeply concerned that the actions described below constitute “a serious or flagrant problem, abuse, or violation of the law or Executive order,” the message said.
The document says that the officials of the White House tried to conceal the transcript of the phone talk. Thus, the transcript was not put in the archive as all other talks. It was done according to the advice of the lawyers of the White House.
The transcript was kept separately; it was explained by the fact that it “contains information, which makes the state secret and it is the issue of the national security”.
“I do not know whether similar measures were taken to restrict access to other records of the call, such as contemporaneous handwritten notes taken by those who listened in”, the official noted.
According to the complaint, after the talk, Trump’s representative Kurt Volker was in Kyiv on July 26 and he briefed Zelensky on the implementation of the wishes expressed by the American president during the call.
On August 2, Rudi Giuliani met Zelensky’s representative Andriy Yermak in Madrid, Spain. Later Yermak confirmed this information.
Moreover, Andriy Yermak and Ivan Bakanov went to Washington to meet Giuliani.
“This complaint is the road map for our investigation and provides important information to the Committee, it is possible to familiarize with other witnesses and documents through it,” Adam Schiff commented.
He assured that the intelligence “will do everything possible” to protect the informant.
At the moment, Joseph Maguire, the Acting Director of National Intelligence delivers a speech before the American lawmakers on the consideration of the appeal of the informant and it led to the beginning of the investigation, which may result in the impeachment of Donald Trump.
Earlier Donald Trump approved the publication of the full version of his phone talk with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky dated July 25 on September 25. Besides, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo received permission from Ukraine Government to release the transcript of the telephone call.
