US confirmed that the Vice President Joseph Biden will visit Ukraine on January 15-18 and the World Economic Forum in Davos.

This statement of the White House was published by the US Embassy in Kyiv.

“In Ukraine the Vice President will participate in bilateral meetings with President Poroshenko and Prime Minister Groysman.  The Vice President's trip to Ukraine will underscore U.S. support - and highlight his personal involvement  in providing support - for Ukrainian independence, democratic development, prosperity and security. The trip will also celebrate 25 years of diplomatic relations, and look forward to a steadfast partnership over the next 25 years,” the statement says.

Erlier it was reported that Poroshenko will meet Biden on January 15. The meeting will be held during the Biden’s visit to Ukraine.
