US Air Force drone RQ-4A Global Hawk conducted reconnaissance over the Black Sea along the coastline of the Crimean peninsula, occupied by Russia. This was reported by the service of tracking the aviation movement CivMilAir in Twitter.
“54,000 feet over the Black Sea - around Crimea and along the Russian coastline. It flew along the coast of the peninsula, and then along the Russian coast to the border with Georgia,” the message says.
As it was reported earlier a drone of the American military RQ-4A Global Hawk conducted a surveillance flight over Ukrainian territory, according to the data of international aviation resources. On the morning of Feb. 16, the drone left the Sigonella Naval Air Field and conducted a surveillance flight along the front line in Donbas for some 12 hours, not crossing the line.
The drone flew at an altitude of 16,000 m at 600 km/h. It left the airspace over Donbas at around 20:00.
It came to Ukraine from the side Romania and flew to the East through Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions. It also got closed to the borders of Voronezh, Belgorod, and Rostov regions of Russia.
