The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the procedure for the removal of unvaccinated employees of enterprises, institutions, and organizations subject to mandatory vaccination against coronavirus. Unvaccinated officials and teachers will be suspended from work from November 8 as regulation #1096 states.
Thus, the document instructs the heads of state bodies, heads of enterprises, institutions, and organizations to ensure the removal from work of workers who are subject to mandatory vaccination, but who refuse or evade vaccinations. This does not apply to people who have absolute contraindications and provided a medical opinion.
The suspension of employees is carried out by issuing an order or regulation of the head of a state body or enterprise, institution, an organization with the obligatory bringing it to the attention of citizens who are removed. The period of suspension is set until the elimination of the reasons that caused it.
It is indicated that at the time of such suspension, the remuneration of workers and civil servants is carried out in accordance with the norms of the law.
Unvaccinated officials and teachers may be suspended from work on November 8.
Earlier, Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry has approved the list of jobs where the workers are obliged to get vaccinated. The compulsory vaccination campaign among these people should be over within a month.
According to Healthcare Minister Viktor Lyashko, the workers who don't get vaccinated during this month will be suspended from work, and they will not be paid their salaries. The official added that later, the compulsory vaccination will be conducted for workers of all state administrations, organizations and enterprises, social workers, and mail service workers.
