An unknown substance was discharged in the air in the North Crimea, as Ihor Mikhaylichenko, so-called Vice-Premier of the peninsula, said, RIA News reported.
“An unknown substance was discharged in Armyansk. A greasy mud with a yellow shade appeared on metallic objects, roofs and leaves on the trees,” Mikhaylichenko told the journalists.
According to him, an expert team of Ministry of Ecology and natural resources of Crimea, of interregional directorate of Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Oversight of Russia, and the representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office arrived at the site.
“Necessary samples were gathered to conduct relevant analysis. The origin of the substance is not defined. We are waiting for the results of the analysis,” Mikhaylichenko said.
