United States intend to provide cold chain support to Ukraine for Covid-19 vaccines storage, as reported in a joint US-Ukraine statement on strategic partnership released by the press service of the Ukrainian president following a meeting between the presidents of the two countries, Volodymyr Zelensky and Joe Biden.
In addition, under the American Rescue Plan Act, Kyiv will receive an additional $12.8 mln in coronavirus-related aid.
It is noted that the United States provided Ukraine with approximately $55 mln in assistance in connection with the pandemic and donated about 2.2 million doses of coronavirus vaccines.
