The 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly is taking place on February 20. During the 58th plenary meeting, the situation in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine is being discussed. This was reported on the website of the UN General Assembly

A debate on the issue will become an important event in Ukraine's efforts to fight the ongoing aggression of Russia and to liberate a part of our territory from the occupant through the strengthening of international solidarity and use of unique representative possibilities of this global organizations, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko said.

Earlier, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution that calls on the Russian Federation to stop human rights violations in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
