Acting Chairman of Board of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia Yevhen Kravtsov said that he had suspended the purchase of the Russian badges ‘Honorary Railroader’ and commented on the situation with their purchase. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
"In the situation with today's scandal on purchases of badges from the aggressor country: this purchase was stopped in the morning, we appealed to the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine with the relevant documents to review the participation of the Ukrainian side in this transaction," the head of Ukrzaliznytsia noted.
Kravtsov added that the agreement on awarding with ‘Honorary Railroader’ badge dates back to 1993. He stressed that the dedicated railroad workers cannot be left without rewards, so he proposed to introduce the highest national award for employees of Ukrzaliznytsia.
As it was reported earlier, more than 50,000 military servicemen received state awards from the Defence Ministry during the Anti-terrorist operation. In particular, from the beginning of 2018 as of May 10 more than 2,500 military servicemen and Armed Forces, officers were awarded the ministerial encouraging rewards.
232,300 military servicemen were awarded the status of a combatant.
