"Poland remains the leader among Ukrainians - over 1.9 million citizens traveled to the neighboring state in the first half of the year," the statement said.
Turkey took the second position in the ranking with an increase in the number of trips by more than six times compared to the first half of 2020. This country was visited by 774.5 thousand Ukrainians.
"The third place with a double increase and a total of more than 705,000 trips of Ukrainian citizens belonged to Egypt," the border guards say.
The top 10 also includes Germany (671, 000 trips), Russia (372,000), Romania (294,000), Belarus (114,000), Slovakia (112,000), Moldova (107,000). The United Arab Emirates closes the rating (85,000).
At the same time, it is impossible to determine exactly how many Ukrainians went to Poland to work, and how many for travel.
The border guards also named the top 10 countries whose citizens visit Ukraine. In this rating, the leaders are residents of Moldova (368,000), Russia (198,000) and Romania (109,000). Tourists from Turkey (93,000) and the United States (34,000) are at the bottom of the list.
As it was reported earlier, some countries open their borders for Ukrainian tourists. In particular, from July 15, citizens of Ukraine will be allowed to enter Slovenia.
