"[Ukrainians will be able to get] approximately $10,000 in the dollar equivalent [on the accounts of economic passports]. We hope that these programs will help to compensate for inflation, up to 20 thousand dollars. 10 to 20," Arakhamiya said.
The MP noted that a citizen of Ukraine can spend that money on education in Ukraine and the purchase of housing after the age of 18. If they have an apartment and enough money for education, this money can be transferred to a personal funded pension account.
As it was reported, president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced introduction of "economic passport" for Ukrainians during the annual address to Rada on December 1.
Such passports will be issued to children born in Ukraine, who will accumulate funds from rent payments for subsoil. Children will be able to use these funds after reaching the age of 18.
