Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov stated that in case of introduction of the complete lockdown in Ukraine, the Ukrainians will be warned about it in 7-10 days, as 112 Ukraine TV channel reported.
Stepanov was asked when the Ukrainians would be warned about the introduction of the complete lockdown. He said the following:
“I believe in a week or 10 days it will be done. At least, we as the Health Ministry will be able to do it. The same situation as with the weekend quarantine, before its introduction, at the meeting of the government on Wednesday in a week before it, we have started to say that we have such an initiative and we want to implement it, why it is so and what we are going to do,” the Minister said.
Besides, Stepanov reminded that according to the regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers on the introduction of the weekend quarantine all over Ukraine, November 28-29 are the last days of the restrictions.
As we reported, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal stated that the Ukrainian government could opt for winter holiday quarantine.
Earlier, Arsen Avakov stated that the country should immediately introduce a lockdown for a period of three-four weeks.
15,331 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Ukraine throughout one day, which is a new record for Covid-19 daily morbidity. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 677,189 people have been infected with Covid-19, 317,395 (+9,617 per day) have recovered, and 11,717 (+225) have died.
