The Ukrainians will be fined for not wearing masks in public places and transport starting from tomorrow. The proper law #1000-IX was published in the official parliamentary journal Holos Ukrayiny.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the proper document on November 6.
The law provides the fine for the absence of a mask in the sum of 170-255 hryvnia ($6-9).
People will be fined for a stay in public places, buildings, public transport without wearing individual protective means during the quarantine. Particularly, the issue is about the respirators or masks that cover the nose and mouth, including hand-made means.
The violators will be fined at the site, not through the court.
As we reported, another record in coronavirus incidence observed. On November 19, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 14,575 new cases of Covid-19, including 549 children and 613 medics. 1,728 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 229 patients deceased, and 7,845 recovered. 70,752 tests have been taken.
