Ukrainians began to receive fake subpoenas by e-mail, allegedly from Kyiv Court of Appeal. This was reported by the press service of the institution.

"Kyiv Court of Appeal informs that recently there have been numerous cases of sending fake notices of summons to the court via e-mail on behalf of Kyiv Court of Appeal," the message says.

The court said that the letters come from an address whose domain is similar to the e-mail of the Kyiv Court of Appeal. Also, the initiators of the mailing list illegally use the logo and the name of the court.

It is noted that the spam mailing itself contains an attachment, the activation of which leads to the operating system infection with malicious software.

The court plans to apply to law enforcement agencies with a request to establish the organizers of the fake mailing list.
