The Ukrainian engineers from Yuzhne design bureau and Yuzhmash state enterprise presented the models of the working and prospective carrier rockets, model of spacecraft and cryogenic fuel tank at 53rd International aerospace-industry exhibition Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, as Yuzhne reported.

“Our, joint with Yuzhmash, the exhibition presents the models of the working carrier rocket Antares, prospective RN Cyclone-4M, Cyclone-1M, and Mayak-SN-5, a model of the spacecraft YuzhSat-1 and cryogenic fuel tank, which is made at the latest production capacity of Yuzhne,” the message said.

It is reported that the exhibit of the Ukrainian producers is placed at F249 booth at 5th pavilion. Director-General of Yuzhne Oleksandr Degtyariov heads the delegation. The program of the Ukrainian delegation provides the holding of a number of the meeting and negotiations on establishment and development of the cooperation in the sphere of the peaceful exploration of outer space. The special attention will be drawn to the import substitution issues.

Antonov State Enterprise, Motor Sich, Ivchenko-Progres, and Ukroboronprom state defense enterprise also present Ukraine at the exhibition.

Earlier we reported that the U.S. launched Antares rocket developed by Ukrainian enterprises from Wallops spaceport, Virginia.

On November 12, 2017, the carrier rocket Antares was successfully launched from the U.S. spaceport. It was developed and created in Ukraine. The construction of the first stage of the carrier rocket was designed by the Ukrainian state enterprise Yuzhne and produced by YuzhMash.
