There were no Ukrainians among those killed during the fire in Russia's Kemerovo, according to preliminary data. This was stated by the representative of Department of Consular Service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Vasyl Kyrylych, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"The Consul in Novosibirsk is checking whether there could be citizens of Ukraine among the dead or injured as a result of the fire in Kemerovo. According to the latest information from the representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Kemerovo region, there are no Ukrainians among the dead or injured, "he said.
As it was reported earlier, the shopping mall caught fire in the Russian city of Kemerovo on March 25. In one of the cinema halls in the mall the bodies of four children were found. According to the report, children were poisoned with products of burning. Seven more children are listed as suffered from the fire.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire appeared on the fourth floor, where a cinema and children's playgrounds are located. A hundred visitors and employees of the complex were evacuated from the shopping center. According to preliminary data, as a result of the fire, 4 people died and 26 were injured.
