Tbilisi court left the Ukrainians detained in Georgia under arrest, as the people’s deputy from “Self Reliance” and first deputy of Verkhovna Rada Defence Committee Semen Semenchenko wrote on Facebook.
“Tbilisi court left the Ukrainian citizens and a Georgian volunteer under arrest,” Semenchenko wrote.
According to him, no evidence which proves that the seized weapons belong to them was provided.
“We will demand immediate expertise with the lawyer,” he added.
As we reported earlier, seven citizens of Ukraine were arrested in Alliance Hotel in Tbilisi.
It is stated that former Georgian serviceman who fought in Ukrainian battalion ‘Donbas’ Luka Chkhetia is among the detainees. His father Sergo Chkhetia told reporters that his son was going to take part in protest action scheduled for December 2 in Tbilisi.
