‘Almost all tourists who were awaiting are already home. The last flight that was getting the tourists from Spain is on the way to Lyiv. The process will be done today. Air companies are fixing they schedule and tourists are getting back. I want to reassure all: you can easily go on a journey, the Centre of Tourism Development claimed.
As of today, all Ukrainian tour operators are fulfilling their obligations and carrying out contracts with airlines.
An insufficient number of planes caused the situation in Tunisia. The problem of airlines that they have no reserved planes for charter flights. A damaged plane may undermine the whole sequence. One of the planes of Bravo Airlines has gone beyond the airstrip on June 27. Prohibition of old planes operation is a right decision,’ Tsaruk claims.
Rostyslav Kravets, a lawyer claims that Ukrainians are not protected from unscrupulous behavior of tour operators.
Use of Ukrainian tour companies’ services is a blow to the market. All they care about is money, not customers. A tourist who gets into a bad situation has to collect as many proofs as possible to go to a court,’ he said.
Kravets said that the sufferer can be compensated up to 380 USD, but the process will take two years.
